Frequently Asked Questions
How Do I Get Started?
Plan to arrive to your first class 10 minutes early so that you have time to get settled. Due to COVID-19 guidelines and regulations, we require all students to register online and make online reservations as we are limiting our classes to 8 people in our studio. Outdoor classes will be limited to 20 people. Until further notice, we will no longer take drop-in customers.
What Do I Need To Begin?
We recommend that you bring your own mat and props given the current pandemic. We now offer mat rentals for $5, and we have mats for sale at the studio. Masks are not required, but the CDC recommends wearing one if you have not been vaccinated. Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes before your scheduled class.
Can I Eat Before Class?
You should refrain from eating two to three hours before class. In yoga practice we twist from side to side, turn upside down, and bend forward and backward. If you have not fully digested your last meal, it will make itself known to you in ways that are not comfortable.
How Do I Check-In At The Studio?
Upon your arrival please check in at the reception desk before entering our practice studio. We also have a sanitation station for you to use prior to entering our studio space.
Do I Need To Bring A Yoga Mat?
We highly recommend that you bring your own mat, but we have mats that you can rent for $5.
Can I Buy Water At The Studio?
In keeping with our commitment to reducing waste, we do not sell bottles of water, but we have a water cooler that is available for your use.
Where Do I Keep My Things?
Our studio has a coat rack and cubbies for your use during class. As we try to keep a tranquil space in the studio, please turn off your cell phone during class.
Do You Have Showers?
Unfortunately, our studio is not able to accommodate showers at this time.
Can I Leave Early?
Out of respect towards yourself, your teacher and fellow students please arrive early and stay through the end of class.
Are Children Allowed?
Children 12 to 13 years old must be accompanied by a parent in order to attend class. Children 14 or older may attend class, but a waiver must be filled out by a parent or guardian prior to the start of class. Our yoga classes are geared toward students who are 16 or older, therefore, we do not allow children under 12 to attend classes. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver.
